Description
Episode #63: After Kirk, Spock and McCoy are captured by Vians, they meet Gem, a mute woman, an "empath" who cures injuries by absorbing the pain of others. Episode #64: Kirk, Spock, and McCoy beam aboard the U.S.S. Defiant and find her crew is dead. Tholians accuse the Enterprise of trespassing in their space and weave an energy web around the starship.
